on sky they sounded louder in the first half but that could of just been the mic placement.

After singing their nursery rhymes, they definitely go home, sit around the kitchen table with family. Turn round to one of their siblings and start out the my dads harder than your dad chant.

Imbeciles.

Did find it humerous they put that french overhyped cockwomble on the tv screen, watching his ex team play that he left whilst just becoming one of the owners of FC United.

How can any of that lot give it the big one about our atmosphere? At least we managed a decent away end today with not much to shout about, but the home end was pitiful today, the same as the away end has been at the Etihad the last three or four derbies.
The atmosphere was great in our end. I don't care what it sounds like on the TV. It was the quietest I have heard from United fans since the 6-1. And they were very subdued on Warwick Road Bridge as well. It is totally sterile there these days. It used to be a bear-pit in the 70s and 80s. I believe the Etihad is much better for the biggest matches than the swamp for atmosphere. Forget the media myths. Anfield is also a very quiet stadium.

One thing we can be certain of is that they’re not from Manchester.
I walked to the swamp from the Chorlton side yesterday. I can honestly say I didn't hear a single Manchester accent apart from a small group of City fans. It was the same after the match. Their traditional fanbase has just gone. I hope this doesn't happen to us.

It's already happening to us, and the club are more than happy for it to.

It's only about removing money from mugs.

Agree. There’s a lot of strange bumpkins and nostalgic plastics in their matchgoing fanbase.

Went yesterday with less than 2,000 City Clubcard points, via an OSC. Never missed a final, always there for the big games, even got a season ticket a few years ago when none are supposed to be available. Been home and away since 1995, many before the clubcard points system was introduced when we moved to the Etihad, many 'off the clock'. Manc exiled down south so home games are usually further away than aways. Part of the enjoyment is knowing it boils the piss of so many on here - if you're a grown adult solely reliant on your clubcard points to get you into games, what have you done with your life - no connections, sly tricks, black market hacks etc?

I thought the 1st half was good. The 2nd half was OK. United's support was poor apart from the predictable cheating bastards chant, and the odd nursery rhyme. Overall, the atmosphere inside Old Toilet mirrored the match, which was poor.

All I saw was shirts with Cantona, Beckham, Scholes, Ronaldo on the back. I know their current team is a laughing stock but their fans are well-and-truly trapped in the 1990s just like most of the media.

We may as well close this thread now. After reading the Naughty Boys Sing Horrible Songs to Foden thread it seems pointless.

I live near cornbrook tram stop, so not far from OT down the the canal. Every United game if I’m walking about I have plastics asking me how to get to OT.
