I think this is why he said use a couple of blocks for the flags and singing.so the sitting and moaning section know where to avoid. Personally I think there should be a few designated blocks for the miserable gits so everyone can avoid them.

I have no problem with that, and think a singing/standing section would be an asset. As for the miserable gits, it strikes me that they are perfectly happy with the state of affairs. Maybe the true miserable gits are the ones that spend their time obsessing about how other people support the club?

Not obsessing Moomba having an opinion and being embarrassed that a red twat on TV is actually right about what he says and maybe your response suggests you are one of the reasons why the atmosphere is so shit, do you go to the games or do you watch on tele because it seems to me you are in favour of a front room view and maybe not suited to going to a live football match, which is fine but please don't make out everything is fine and dandy when we sell 37.000 tickets for a champions league game , we got that for Stockport at home. When we hear the atmosphere created at German clubs you can't tell me that it wouldn't be a far more attractive proposition than that dross last night.

If you're embarrassed about Scholes I'd suggest you need to man up a bit. As far as I'm concerned people can do what they like at the match as long as its not offensive to others. If you want to put on a cheerleading show good luck to you, if someone wants to take a packed lunch then good luck to them. I'm somewhere in between and if anyone wants to try and tell me I should act differently at a match they'll quickly be told where they can stick their advice.

Who made you boss of the fans?

Nobody who made you smart arse of the net, we're you proud of the club and fans last night.

Your mum.

I only give a fuck about what goes on on the pitch for 90 minutes.

If we ever get the whole of the South Stand do you think we'll EVER do this???

I sit in the "family stand" and none of the regulars in our block were there..

The reasons some of them couldn't attend?
Skint - can't afford a ticket for me & lad on top of paying for season tickets
Working late - can't get there on time
Dads in hospital - well some things are more important

As I could buy upto 12 tickets I offered them to mates who are blues - the general answer was "Yeah I would love to come with my son/daughter" until I mentioned the price "£35 for you, £25 for your 16 year old"....£60 for an unplanned night out is a lot to those don't attend week in week out. (It's a lot to me who KNOWS I have the expense coming up)

As a result the first five or six rows of our block were assigned to an Australian Football Academy from Melbourne - bit hard to get a song going or join in when all they want to do is obscure the view whilst turning up just after kickoff, then deciding to head back up the stairs to get food and drinks in small groups of 2 and 3 to maximise the impact.

There you go problem solved watch the 90 minutes at home jobs a good un, and I'm not embarrassed by what scholes said, where did I say that , what I'm saying is he is correct in what he is saying about our support last night. I know you don't care about how many turn up or what the atmosphere is like, what I'm saying is that it's people like you that bring the atmosphere down, so instead of acting like a 15 year old net warrior and having a pop at me at many others especially heart bypass patients why don't you book some theatre tickets.

I remember few years back some fans singing to the liverpool fans "where were you on weds night" because of a low turnout on one of the famous european nights at anfield, even the tv person mentioned it, it happens all the time even to the so called BIG clubs.

Is there a group that has direct contact with the club? I know the 1894 group contact the club but is there anything like a meeting in one of the function rooms at the ground anymore. We need something like that.

Those that don't want flags etc wouldn't have too. All the club would have to do is for a cup game where the opposition return a block or too only sell tickets to people who will stand up and sing. Those that wouldn't be bothered with flags all game, drums ( tin hat ) and maybe even co-ordinations. Surely a one game trial wouldn't be bad.

As for the rest, you are making stuff up about things I never said, so I aint wasitng my time.

All I will say is, where does it say in the Terms & Conditions how I should act at a City match in regards to what you want?

Never ever.

Aris are the best European fans. Hands down. They rival some of the South American clubs' fans for best in the world.

They're like fans sent by the gods of football. Even excellent fans of Dortmund or Poznań don't come close to Aris.

No point ever dreaming of getting to that level. Our aims should be far lower but that would still be far better than we currently are.

It wasn't the greatest atmosphere in the world but it certainly wasn't the worst we have generated. Lower ticket prices would help attendances and atmosphere.
