Nice to see you've noticed who I am, I've never noticed you ever before. That says a lot!

I'm hurt now...maybe I should start talking shite like you to get noticed :)
At least you've got good banter!

I'm not talking shit though on this, even if I do on other things, the size of our vocal sections is criminal!

I've got a son called Dan and he always thinks he's right!..Was a bit shit today though but put that down to the early kick off and nerves due to the Southampton possession.

What about the other games this season? Most have been poor to average except United and a couple others.

Whether he is someone else or not, KippaxCitizen raises a very relevant point about the size of our 'singing' areas. There are Football League teams with bigger areas for singing fans. If you combined the South Stand and singing section, even with all the miserable basterds watering them down with their arms crossed and grumpy faces, the volume would go up.

This is a good size for a singing/hardcores section (about 12,000 I think):

We're obviously all still caught up in a typical city mindset just waiting for us to implode at any minute. We can't or won't for whatever reason go out and start singing 'we're gonna win the league' like the Scousers were last week and who really cares if we sang it and it didn't happen - so what! We need to up our game and be doing something more vocally. This is the best City team that's arguably ever been and it's become embarrassing. The place should be rocking from young kids to Oap's lets make some fucking noise. Looking forward to seeing how many empty seats or people fucking off early for strictly if there happens to be a title winning game in the next 6 weeks.

The ground is a lot more tense these days. I think we still harbour the feelings we had WWWS, know we aren't, mixed with the anxiety of needing the three points! It's a funny combination!

Two things I always find amazing,
the people that cannot understand that some people go to the football to watch the match
Those that think Maine Road was always rocking...it WASN'T.

Our home atmosphere is and always will he shit unless changes are made such as safe standing, a home end and cheaper tickets are brought in but this is never going to happen because it's modern football!! It's only going to get worse if it carries on the way it is

Can hear a pin drop at Stamford Bridge.....Worse than ours this morning!

*edit* afternoon!

Holte End at Villa and the Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United Kops are all bigger than the Anfield Kop too. But even 10884 for Chelsea's Matthew Harding Stand or 10611 for Everton's Gwladys Street Stand is a fairly decent number.
