This thread is surely not the time or place for this, let's agree to disagree. My point is that if I had been born in Spain (entirely possible) I would still consider myself 100% English. I'm sure those scumbags didn't consider themselves English even if they were born here.

It's pertinent to those saying shut the borders. Germaine Lindsay was of Jamaican origin and wasn't even born a Muslim. Hasib Mir Hussain was a second generation Briton, meaning his parents were born here as well. The other two were first generation Britons but grew up living entirely ordinary lives. Something happened to these four boys to turn them into religious fanatics and murderers. That's the thing we have to tackle, which we can probably do reasonably well in this country but when people can log onto the internet or hop on a plane to Karachi then there's little we can do ourselves.

There was an attack on the Twin towers before 9/11 (1993) ...a lorry bomb from what I remember

Yeah it was a van or a truck driven into the underground parking garage and then set off - lots of smoke - not sure about any deaths but obviously hitting the bottom failed so next time they went higher up
