Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

Enjoy

My only Etihad experience was 2012 against Arsenal

It ended up 1-1 with Lescott scoring the goal

My 2nd City game was in against West ham, it was Haaland first game for City

Enjoying my third beer outside in the sun at the Cask. Thanks for the recommendation [emoji3526]

Cracking bar that mate. Hope you’ve enjoyed your trip to Manchester so far and hope we get a good result for you this afternoon!

Not sure if someone’s mentioned it yet but if you want some food at the ground check out Pancho’s Mexican food truck outside. It’s awesome.

They also have a food stall in the Arndale market, it’s run by a lovely Mexican bloke called Enrique. Amazing food.

don't believe the myth that it always rains in manchester ,its usually like today for maybe 340 days a year, now and again a touch of light drizzle, have a great day and i hope you get see a great game and an erling double hat trick.

Perfect first game imo - he got to feel that little bit of tension towards the end that all of us 'typical City' fans feel.
Similar to what I was saying to @Tarzan41 and his mates after the game. :)

I really had a blast and once more thanks for having me for a few pints before and after the game. It made the whole experience way more wholesome.

1-5 City v West Ham 1970 Ronnie Boyce!! IYKYK
I remember that match well. City had a decent team and already won the League Cup against West Brom and would go on to win the ECWC. City had an increadibly tough 1-0 win in second leg in the CWC against Acadmica Coimbra three days earlier and that may have been a partial explanation. This started a run of five losses out of six matches, the exception being an obligatory 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

My mate Dave was thrown out for alleged hooliganism in the first half of the West Ham match. As was typical in those days, he paid to get back in to watch the rest of the match. In the City Social Club after the match, he was arguing that he enjoyed the match and the football played by West Ham.

My first one was quite recently as I don’t live in the Uk, Fulham home November 2022, Haaland 95th minute winner, best day of my life.
Hope you had a good one.
