That is fucking appalling pal.My legs are totally shot and I can no longer walk or stand up without holding on to something, else I would fall.
To go out, which I still love to do with my dog, I use my WAV and walk my dog whilst using my mobility scooter.
In the main, people are great with me, but yesterday I suffered total humiliation as I was laughed at by two grown men working on a site.
As I went past, one started to point and laugh and the other said in a voice clearly loud enough for me to hear, there's the dog taking his spazzer out for his fresh air.
Normally, I wouldn't wish my condition on anyone, but yesterday I made an exception.
I shouted back at them, telling them to get fucked, but they scampered off.
Some people just cannot help but take the piss out of Disabled people, for those that do it, words fail me.
Disability hate crime has been rising for a long time now and it is because of the negative media and war on welfare.
That **** IDS with his introduction of PIP needed the media to demonise the disabled so that he could get his reforms through. That meant countless number of stories about people faking illnesses. The actual figure for disability welfare fraud was a miniscule 0.7% but the way they portrayed it every disabled person had a free Rolls Royce , a house full of 1150ft wide TVs and enjoyed 400 holidays a year to Martinque.
These cunts made it acceptable to demonise the disabled, imagine how fucking low you have to be to want to demonise the disabled.
I have heard countless stories like yours pal, all of them disgust me. What sort of country do we love in when a person who through no fault of his own gets abused. It makes me fucking sick.
People also forget that some disabilities are hidden and the abuse they recieve is fucking off the scale. I have bore witness to it mate. There are uncaring horrible cunts out there who take great delight in abusing those less fortunate than themselves. I have seen a grown man ask a young girl of around 18 who suffers from the same problems that i do if she lived on a leper colony. Imagine the damage that does to a young girls confidence. I am not a violent man but if i could have caught up with the **** i would have wrapped my walking stick right round his fucking head, the horrible horrible ****.
You are better than them pal, low life cunts like that are not worth fucking bothering with, hopefully one day they get there comeuppance and see what it is like spending a day in your shoes, but like you said, you are a decent fella who would not wish your problems on anyone,....i respect you enormously for that.
