Authentic cuisine cooking

My Indian freind reckons he can feed five blokes all week for £10.00. He comes from a part of India where veg dishes are all they cook. I have tasted his cooking and it is spot on.

He has nothing on some bloke I heard about called Jesus he could do wonders with some fish and bread. Feed thousands. I'm sure I heard he could turn water into wine as well which gets him extra brownie points

Also known as "One Soup Three Dishes," Ichiju Sansai is a traditional Japanese meal that consists of a bowl of steamed white rice, soup, and three side dishes. This simple yet elaborate meal is rooted in the Muromachi period (1336-1573). At the time, members of the highest classes in society were served in the Honzen Ryori system; a banquet-style meal service served on small tables called zen. Today, the luxurious dining theatrics of Honzen Ryori live on in households all over the country as Ichiju Sansai.

i was taught how to make tarka dhall by an hare krishna.
they usually avoid garlic
(summat about it interfering with their desire to be celibate)
but she didn't care because she liked having sex.

the idea is to make your dhall using only water and leave out the garlic.
when the dhall is ready to eat,
cook your garlic in lots of hot ghee separately,
then pour it directly onto the dhall just before serving.

the reason she did it is that it represents the creation of life itself,
the explosive moment when fire and liquid came together.
it does look spectacular as you add the garlic/ghee,
but i do it that way because it tastes much much better.

try it.

this better not turn into one of those threads where tossers start posting photos of what they've just made.

that'd've cost about £50 in tast.
£2.50 fresh from sainsbury's.
the trick is to burn the fucking life out of them.
a very hot pan and evoo,
constantly turning them.
they blister and squeak and dance around the pan.
4 or 5 minutes, that's all.
you'll know when they're done because the smoke alarm will go off.

i don't believe for one second you live in norway.
if you did you'd've p.m.'d me and offered to send me some brown cheese.
i would've happily sent you some crumbly lancashire cheese in return,
an authentic lancashire cuisine i doubt you can buy in norway.
