Away ends and tourists

What is the idea of players going in with the away fans, does the player decide or the club?

I said its fucking cringeworthy when the rags players do it and it was yesterday.

Its done for the cameras and its just wrong.

Imagine we score a last minute winner (yes i know, unlikely right now) and he gets jumped on and fucks another knee up!

Sit in the posh seats Vinny.

The worrying thing is that we've got the manager we have craved, an unbelievable group of players as there seems to be tons of apathy amongst the support.

It feels like an absolute chore goingbto the match at the minute

You're absolutely right, the apathy amongst the support is worrying ....but only to us, the hardcore fans who have been going for decades. The club couldn't give a hoot though, as others in this thread have already pointed out, if we feel this way they'll happily replace us with the JCLs who embrace the whole match day experience bollocks.

I always remember when we won the FA Cup and there was the parade and homecoming at the ground, Bernard Halford took to the mine and said "this is a Manchester Club for Manchester People". Sure as hell doesn't feel like that anymore. I appreciate were now a global group and the Premier League is a global export, however we really are in danger of losing our Manchester identity.

I think clubs will soon have to set aside a couple of hundred seats for the day trippers, a neutral block for all the half and half brigade, because it seems like the resentment towards these jcl's is only going to get worse and at the end of the day they should be allowed to come and watch a game if they choose to do so without worrying about being verbally or physically abused. These point whores who are selling these tickets for inflated prices need to be looked at also as they are pricing genuine city fans out of attending away games unless they spend a silly amount on a ticket.

Are posters on here completely blind, these tickets are not coming from points whore's or supporters clubs, they are being issued to a ticket agency for overseas supporters, whether they be City fans or neutrals who want too see a match in the UK, they are issued on block by Manchester City Football Club
They have been guaranteed between 5 and 10% of the away allocation to grow the CITY Brand name
If they were coming from individual they would be dotted all over the place, when clearly they are all sat in groups if not rows

Nobody knows what's going on outside the club. The club no longer tell us anything. And those inside the club who are privy to what's going on, but aren't the decision makers, won't say a thing for fear of losing their jobs. We could discuss this for eternity, and the club may well look into this thread, but our views, thoughts, and posts won't change a thing. Sheikh Mansour, Khaldoon, Soriano, and some of the other Directors make the final decisions. And only they can change things. But how do you convince any of the above that what they are doing, and what is happening at City is detrimental to the club and City's support in general. Bit by bit the clubs identity, traditions, and it's fan base are being eroded by the very people who promised, and who were hired to look after it, and to preserve it.

What a great bunch of city fans we are. Maybe away games shouldn't be down to points it should be down to if you have an M postcode and can get pissed up dance around like a d*ck set flares off. That's how you get a ticket

Couldn't have put it better. Soriano and his management team are likre Dementors, sucking the joy out of going to games.
