Away ends and tourists

The City employee who dealt with my Celtic complaint said that was illegal and they'd take sanctions. I'd expect the club themselves are doing it as a package.

it might be illegal, but I bet it does happen, and if its illegal for fans to do it, then its illegal for the club to do it, but money talks

It's a strange debate on the whole really, cos there's been a fair few aways this season where I've made a spur of the moment decision to go a few days before the game, and still managed to get a ticket.

I know money and work dictate how much people can go, but the issue in this thread only seems to be happening for the bigger games. Our away following is strange one to work out, cos you see other Premier League clubs who are consistently shit or good in numbers away from home.

I fell in love with city as a kid going to maine rd it was great. I used to get a massive buzz back then.
If I was a kid now been taken to the new ground I wouldn't have fallen on love with city I don't think.

I try and go to as many away games as possible. With me being 17 i have to use my own points whichs makes it harder for me to get the tickets as i only have 5700 points.
A way around this issue is to use my local supporters group to get the tickets and in turn improve my points total.
The tickets the sc get are obviously in an area with most tourist (and last night i was sat directly behind kompany). I find the tourist are always very polite and are buzzing with excitement. They may not know all the words but they join in with every song as they love the english football fan culture.
I think some on here need to maybe take a look at themselves a little. I have been going away games for 10 years now and i have seen our support at away games change. We have an ageing support as these are the demographic with the points to get the tickets. I see these familiar faces at everygame. I know singing is not for everyone but they spend more time moaning or texting their misses about whats for tea. Therefore i find it a little unfair for people to blame the atmosphere on tourist.

Getting a ticket with 5700 points is wrong no matter how you dress it up
