Away tickets

I am personally not happy about the amount of spares for today. I had nowhere near enough points to get one, so left it. Then in the 24 hours leading up to the game, all these spares become available. I reckon if it was 50 quid a ticket, people wouldn't be pulling out last minute. 25/30 quid some people are happy to take the hit on for 40 loyalty points.

I'd have loved to have gone today, but it'd have been a lot more helpful if people who bought tickets actually planned on going, so myself and others with way more loyalty points than me didn't feel let down. Could've made a great weekend in South Wales out of that trip.

You are right that the Club should look into these spares. I’ve put in a couple of hours travelling today to ensure that a spare from a high points earner doesn’t go to waste. I would have gone myself with more notice.

spot on.

Why is it spot on if he had nowhere near enough points then a hundred or so tickets still wouldn't allow him to get one.

Too give my two penneth I run a supporters branch and put in a lot of work to do so. Do I need to? No... I have 20000 plus points so qualify for almost all games..

I can only speak for our branch but we got 2 today and 2 for Bournemouth so the branches aren't creaming off the majority. Our tickets also go to the same people who go to every game ie. The ones who deserve it.

Some have said that there's no need for supporters club branches based on today's technology. I'd have agreed a year ago but now with the introduction of the new website you can't see people's points, you have to blindly assign tickets to other cards.

The old website may have facilitated the demise of the supporters clubs the current system doesn't so until they resolve that I reckon we're here to stay and let's face it that whilst it doesn't apply to all the ones now moaning about supporters clubs which let's face it were taking tickets in the old 2nd and 3rd divisions are the ones who didn't go then but now want to go cos we're good

Completely agree, the Facebook pages are great for selling spares for home games but are part of the issue for aways. The number of spares today is a joke when you consider the points it sold out on...one lad (and I kid you not) had 16!!

There'll be plenty of empties in the away end today, unless people can get locals to fill the seats.
