Said it for a long time that the biggest issue with the away allocations is the distribution to all the various sectors of our support as it’s totally disproportionate to the numbers in each sector. However the more you put into the club the more likely you are in obtaining a ticket for whatever game you want. If I win the lottery this weekend and pay upfront for a box for the next 20 years I suspect if I want a few derby tickets, Bournemouth or extra Wembley tickets 8 have no doubt the club will find them. It’s wrong, immoral, unethical, call it what you want but it would happen. However that may be a one off case but what isn’t a one off case is the systematic abuse of the system but many different people. I wonder how many tickets really went on sale to ticket point holders for Bournemouth. It should have been around 700 but was it really. Go back to Brighton last season and the amount of fans in the away end with nowhere near the amount of points it sold out was ridiculous. KP says that there are 7k branch supporters compared to 40k season card holders. Meaning that the larger bulk of fans get three times the amount of tickets despite being nearly six times bigger! Not only that but you are in a branch and aged 18-25 you have three bites of the cherry. Big reform needs to be done.
