Awful songs by bands you love

Foo Fighters - For All The Cows

I just hate the start of the song and the way the start is reprised later, just grates on me.

How about their "talk about it" A 2:15 song that seems to repeat the title about 60 times.

Closed Groove was a brilliant track on the Album, strange how people differentiate. all opinions I suppose. Great Album though.

I take your point, though. Nobody could seriously make out that Love Me Do, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, She Loves You are great music, could they? I actually find them quite listenable, even if they are jingles, because of the combination of those two voices, which was unique, and which you'd recognise any time, anywhere. Unlike yourself and @Stoned Rose, I don't think that the band are overrated, but I think their lasting reputation depends almost entirely on the mid-period stuff. The great mystery is how they developed from those first three albums to be producing stuff like Rubber Soul and Revolver within about three years. George Martin himself has gone on record as saying that he didn't understand it. Imo, it was a quantum leap. As I've just posted, I'd ditch their last two albums, as well. Which many will disagree with, doubtless.

Don't get me wrong blue, they have produced some absolutely mesmeric songs and on their day were right up there with almost anyone.

However, they also produced a lot of mediocre stuff and a fair bit of shite.

Gundogan esque.

are all high up in my favourite tracks of theirs.

Reminds me of a wedding I went to. At the piss up this came on and about 50 women in their 30s and 40s who'd had kids and were well past their sell by dates all went mental to it.

There was flab, varicose veins and cellulite all over the gaff.

My sex hasn't been on fire since.

Agree Sgt Pepper another.My favourite Beatles track A Day In The Life is on it.
The rest not in my top 20.In fact i would say it is my most overrated album ever.

Agreed, great track, but She's Leaving Home for me is great also, underrated I think.
