One of the first names on the team sheet at present. He’s as good as Stones in possession, as brave as Otamendi and as tactically intelligent as Kompany.

When he first came you could see the potential but he seems to have matured much quicker than I anticipated. All defenders make mistakes but he just doesn’t seem to get flustered afterwards, he’s got that belief in his own ability that Stones is occasionally missing. That said I can’t wait to see them grow as a partnership long term.

Pep made a mistake tonight playing Eric at LB. After Klanfield last year, presumably a mistake he won't make again.

Still fail to see what many others apparently do. He's mistake prone and always prone to be muscled out by a big forward. Should never be starting ahead of Stones.

I think he is ok. Still think both Stones and Ota' are better CBs. But he is first choice at LCB for me

At one point in the game he made a blinding tackle in the box and then released sterling down the right to set up what should of been a goal! Amazing place and gave me goosebumps!

But as other people say, keep him at centre back haha

Or that nutmeg on the left wing and his subsequent cross for Silva wasn't too shabby either. So while looking uncomfortable and doing mistakes in his position, he still made some great plays which sort of outbalanced the bad things.

He doesn’t! They play different positions!

really decent footballer and while he might have struggled at LB, he wasn't that bad. leave at centre half tho :D
