I think it's a calf muscle with him having his socks down and shinnies out, reminded me of vinnie when he used to have this type of injury.
If it is then it's a month or more but it happens, long time out you get muscle pulls/strains/injuries as your body re-aligns itself again.
Shame but thankful he walked off and not stretchered.

Absolutely incredible that none of the journalists in the post match interviews or press conference thought to ask, “what has Laporte done Pep? Is it muscular or his knee?”

I mean how on earth do you not ask that screamingly obvious question?

Not trying to be a doomsayer but you can walk off with an acl , pcl , medial etc.

A torn calf muscle depends on the grade of tear but at least that's not nearly as bad as redoing the knee and he could return of a couple of games before seasons end.

Does appear that we will have to do without him for a number of weeks.

Sam Lee posted during the game that he had a minor hamstring injury after Sheffield. Would suggest to me that we probably mismanaged his recovery.

Hasn’t looked right in any game since his return after Sheffield. It may or may not prove to have had something to do with his previous injury/recovery but there was a lot of us questioning the wisdom of his inclusion against both West Ham and Leicester.

If it turns out any cause of whatever he’s done this time can be attributed to his recovery, still not being 100% or playing too much too soon then the medical team need sacking. It Happens too much to us to be coincidental and it’s either the medical staff not being upto scratch or they’re not telling Pep he’s pushing them too hard which is just as bad

Said it before, will say it again - looks like we've cocked this up badly, and not only with Laporte.

Our medical staff, injury management, and use of Cugat need serious questioning and review IMO.
