Aymeric Laporte fears he is facing at least three weeks out, after suffering another injury setback in the Champions League win over Real Madrid on Wednesday night. [@TelegraphDucker]

Laporte faces further tests to determine the full extent of the problem, but he is thought to accept he will be looking at a minimum of a few weeks on the sidelines.

Aymeric Laporte is believed to have sustained a hamstring injury. [@Jack_Gaughan]

So despite Madrid getting the red card, we ended up without Laporte and Mendy for the 2nd leg, compared to them just missing Ramos!

Ramos is probably as influencial on Madrids defence as Laporte is to ours, and it was only a few weeks ago that Mendy was being universally being branded as being shite.

Regarding the second leg we have a one goal lead and two away goals, Laporte being absent is no excuse whatsoever for making a balls of it at the Etihad.

As for the length of his absence that has to be a relief as he should be fit for the next round where he will most certainly needed were we to draw the likes of Barca or more so Bayern who looked very decent against Chelsea.

His return has been mis-managed and its not the first time that’s happened. we get an unnatural number of players injuring themselves very shortly after a prior injury, sometimes reoccurring, sometimes unrelated, and we seem to get a lot more muscular injuries than other teams.
We seem to or you know for a fact we do ?
