If we are selling Laporte i think the reported 30M is extremely cheap and someone will bag a top class player for a bargain price. I've read Spurs are sniffing around. If so we should ask double from the cheeky hard faced cunts. I wouldn't sell Levy the steam off my shit.
im amazed liverpool havent gone in for him
maybe like rest only wants spain and sun

We won't sell him to EPL clubs// he won't join EPL clubs and outside England maybe there are few takers with money. Maybe we should try him as Rodri Backup and sell Phillips

That was my first thought , he should still have faith in himself shirley
Faith in himself or not, he's proved to be a top player who's bordering world class when at his best. Selling him for a reported 30M is absolutely bonkers, especially as he still has 2 years contract left. We should be commanding same as we paid, otherwise we're mugging ourselves.

That’s a decent fee as no one is knocking. He has achieved everything with us. Take the Saudi money and happy ever after sitting in the sun

My first thought too. He’s earned it. Why go to a lesser club in Europe and get kicked around for similar money or less, when you can go and make an absolute fortune over there? Retire rich, happy and content.

That’s fair enough as a sentiment mate, but there clearly isn’t much of a market for him, given the complete lack of interest - strange as we may find that to believe - and price is ultimately driven by market forces.

If he wants to leave, and we’re keen for him to move on, we can sit there saying “£60m or nothing” all we like - but in reality, it seems the market is responding with “fine - you’ll get nothing then”.

We can’t force Clubs to pay £60m for him if they just don’t seem to want him enough to pay it.

It would be different if we actively wanted to keep him - but the world knows we’ve got six CBs, and he’s the one we’re looking to move on. We aren’t operating from a position of strength on this one!
