Back pain/sciatica

At the moment I'm waiting for both hips to be replaced due to arthritis. I'm taking Tramadol for pain but it hardly makes a difference. In the past I've been on stronger opioids but stopped as they mess with the mind. The withdrawl symptoms were shocking. Deffo stay away.

Have you looked at CBD products or even the full way and used THC (weed) drops or even smoking it?

I use the THC drops at times over the weekend but try to avoid it during teh work week

@denislawsbackheel just found some Naproxen in the cupboard left over from an ear infection so popped one to see how I get on, I think I’ve got a hamstring problem now as usually I’m quite flexible but today absolutely shite and got pins and needles in my toes now!

I'm using a lot of heat related products to help ease the pain.

Lost aload of weight that helped but now the pain has returned after being away a few years.

Lower spine and middle are the two worst area. and a numb/sore right side of leg
Don’t forget cold can help too

Went to the Drs about a month ago with a similar complaint.....sciatica was diagnosed although not to bad but occasionally. I had 2 options, NHS approved exercise and/or NHS approved physio from a local physiotherapist organised free via NHS Wales for self employed people and business owners....... We keep the wheels of industry turning apparently. I went down the exercise route as the exercises were downloaded and easy to follow. Touch wood, it seems to be sorted which is a shame really as I'd love to have found out the physio was a 25 year old topless Thai girl with a thing for Johnsons baby oil.

If you are getting nerve issues (pins and needles) and pain from them see your doc and ask for gabapentin.

Stretch your hamstrings. Then google dead bugs exercise. And do yoga.
