It was 2.5 million for Hart 'officially' but it's basically a break even situation as West Ham will pay exactly what his wages are actually for the next year.

All these figures are just guesses, and I have no clue about accounting, but I was doing this on the back of an envelope and assumed I've got something completely and massively wrong:

Am I right in thinking that if we were to offload-

Navas 80k/week
Nolito 80
Sagna 100

Total - 1.32m/week - £68.6m per year in wages.

And then added:

Mendy, Walker, Danilo, Silva & Ederson on an average of about £100k/week, i.e. £26m total

That we've saved ourselves £42.6m per year.

Which would be enough to cover £213m in transfer fees amortised over 5 years?

Sounds decent enough accounting to me.
