I actually rate him. When we played SoTon a coupe of years back he stood out as head and shoulders above his team mates.

He can take a free-kick. But not as well as the free-kick specialist that is Javi Garrido.

IMO, Bale is a good player with potential, but he is no improvement on what we already have. Someone like Chillieni or Lahm etc would be a massive improvement to our squad. We have the money, so why not?
