Change your tampon. This sort of things happens up and down just about every training ground in the land in any sport that sees top athletes playing at an elite level against each other.

The difference in our case is that a) we are big news and b) our training ground is open to the public and as such, has half a dozen cameramen waiting to take pictures with long lenses at anything at all.

To be honest looking at the pictures Mario needs an award for keeping calm. Id have lost it and someones head would end up on the grass. But since it is Mario he gets no credit for having the composure of a meditating monk.
It's a culmination of events though, Didactic. The public perception of the club takes a hit everytime he makes a twat of himself. Whilst a lot of people might think, fuck it, don't care what anyone else thinks, I can't see Sheikh Mansour taking this view. He's the head of the company and some of his employees are fighting in public. All these fights seem to have one common denominator though.

We are in the entertainment business this is entertainment. I always cringe at people trying to paint footballers as role models and examples of acceptable behavior. These are womanising young millionaires with no real connection to any of us besides our love for them. Lets stop imagining things here of all the owners investments this is probably the most casual and things like dust offs on the training pitch are nothing. Its naive to think that the owners image is affected by the actions of a 22 Italian boy with his own issues. On a completely business level Mario has attracted masses of fans and attention to the club which equals global exposure and revenue. Celebs pay agents and PR companies to get a quarter of the attention he commands for free just by being Mario. Stop looking at it if we are running a nunnery and one of the nuns was caught gagging on a cock in public. Childish footballer behaved like childish footballer after provocation from childish manager who was once a bad boy footballer himself.

Its all entertainment and no amount of Mario out blah will change that you are actually increasing his market value. People who count shit like how many times a name is typed in Google or an article about a certain player is read will tell you that Mario is any market mans dream. He is now one of the most famous young athletes in the world and that has commercial value for him and the club. Business is about numbers not who or what you like.
You could make the same justifications for joey barton. Another one who believes he is much better than he actually is. Publicity follows some players around wherever they go. Some have the talent and application to compensate for their words and actions and end up being labelled a flawed genius. Balotelli is just flawed.

I think it is, keeping in perspective what values our owner wants our club to be associated with. Busts-ups between manager and player is not good stuff. And they are both to blame, not just Mario.

To be perfectly honest I don't think what happens on the training ground significantly influences peoples opinions of City as an organisation. It will effect what people think of Mancini and what people think of Balotelli.

But the more I think about the absurdity of it all the less bothered I am about the impact it will have on the club short or long term.

This is such fucking bad news...

It really isn't

why why why does this keep happening to us and how come we can always see it all over the internet and on SSN?

That's sort of how the internet works.

I was being critical to how easy it apparently is to take pictures of our training sessions.

Do you think you'll manage to get to sleep tonight worrying about this? Would you like some diazepam ?

I think I'll be able to sleep just fine even though stuff like this makes me disappointed with the club. Thanks for your concern and your kind offer though.

I blame Sinclair for being a soft ****,he should have just got back up after the challenge and chinned Mario, if he'd have done that he'd have won over quite a few City fans judging by some of the comments about Mario on here.

Laughable

The guy is not worth the hassle
I think you may have missed the humouress tone in Allan's post.

This is now a Steve Kinsey thread

He's a world class player, but a major liability in my oppinion

He's not a world class player though, he may have world class potential but has never shown himself to be a world class player. World class players constantly deliver.

Agree with the second part though.

Also don't buy into this "free publicity" thing, our club being slandered and made a laughing stock of is not the publicity Soriano and Khaldoon will have in mind.
Slandered?

I agree but it’s getting to far now and embarrassing! This happens at every club but Mario has to go and if Mancini won’t sell him then clear them both out!!
