Whilst Mario was silly with a late tackle ( not forgetting this happens all the time up and down the country), it doesn't help his cause. I'd expect Mancini will get a dressing down from up top for his reaction. Tomorrows conference will be interesting.

Not as an isolated event, but placed together with all the other shit Mario's been involved in since he got here I'd say it does have an impact.

In reality Balotelli has been a huge commercial bonus to the club. When it comes down to it I don't really care about that, his job has got to be to perform on the pitch.

While I fully believe Mario is a disruptive fool who needs to go, I think Mancini also showed a lack of perception by going for him in full knowledge they were in public view with the media parasites waiting for some material. I think both will be called to Soriano's office and asked to explain themselves like naughty school kids, which is fitting after their playground squabble.

You may think that, I couldn't really care. One thing that is for certain is that our players think that.

But I didn't "choose" to support City though. I had no choice.
