It doesn't matter if the tackle wasn't that bad like all the mario lovers are saying, he still deserved it and deserves a lot more for being a lazy insolent pr**k. How can people stand up for him? Yeah he's scored some quality and important goals and is an amazing penalty taker, but 80% of the time he can't be arsed and mopes around the pitch scowling at everyone and falling over.

I started watching city in 75 and every year we would and pundits would back us for a cup, although not when in the lower leagues. So yes a club the size of city is about winning things, and to not have an attitude like that would probably see us back where we once were. Not winning things and being part of a community club is for clubs like Accrington, Bury , Rochdale etc. who can now get to wembley incidentally with the Johnsons paint and play offs.
