In effect we are all behind Mario because we want him to succeed. But he needs to now dig deep and start performing for the full 90 mins and justify the amount of backing not only Bobby has given him, but ourselves the fans.

The word liability is now being used against him, instead of top player, world class etc etc....Mario is the only person who can change this sense of feeling around starting with Newcastle on Saturday.

Lets be honest, there would be no better sight than actually seeing Mario receive the ball, beat 2 defenders and slot the ball home.

But to also actually see him put in a full committed effort for not only himself but for the team over the full 90 minutes.

Redemption can only be achieved by the person who requires it most.

Some examples of where Mario contributed were asked for, I gave them. To counter that example with it took a deflection is unreasonable.

I don't have Mario tinted glasses, I can see his flaws, I am just sick of the over the top bullshit that's said about him.
