We get it, you like the pantomime horse even though the facts of his goal scoring and overall play prove hes just not performing.

I've been disappointed in his performances this year, but I'm prepared to give a squad member of my football club time to get back to what he is capable. And I'm prepared to give him credit when he does good things, rather than some that seem to only recognise the bad things he does (or is rumoured to do).

This is probably off topic but surely Mario shouldn't be compared to the likes of Van Persie. A who's 7 years his senior and is currently enjoying his 9th season in the prem. When he was as young and inexperienced as Balotelli he was averaging 5-10 goals a season and has only recently emerged as a consistent 'top' striker.
Know I very much doubt Balotelli will be here for anything near a decade but I'll continue to support him when he plays.
