I'm not sure the words for it, but the current actions of Mario and his agent are cynical in the extreme.

In the last month alone, his agent has twice reminded us how much Mario is worth, he is a Mona Lisa...how he will see out the remainder of his two years, a threat if ever I heard one.

His lack application in training has now been cited at least twice by the manager.

And now he's taking the club to a tribunal over a two week fine.

It stinks, and Mancini deserves so much better than this.

I know Mino Raiola has form for this, but there must be better ways of orchestrating a move away, rather than trying to directly impact his value and us hand him a pay-off in the process.

And that's before the divided opinion to his displays on the pitch.

Cut our losses.

If he's on 170k that I very doubt, than many people in the club should be spanked hard.

It just can't be, no way a teenager he was when he signed did anything in Italy to justify that wage.

£110k a week.
So is it a def that he is taking the club to a tribunal?

£110k a week.

Whatever he's on, it's too much.

Mancini has to shoulder a lot of blame for this. He's induldged Mario too long and with every passing performance his value drops.

Tolmie what do the City Hierarchy think of Mario taking us to tribunal?

BTW not seen many pro Balotelli posters for a while, "Let's be having you"

Do you reckon his agent has had discussions with some Italian clubs and they've told him the fee THEY can afford so his agent is trying to force it now? Like a loan then a permanent move for a fee of around 18m or something like that

Simon Mullock is a decent enough journo who also happens to be a blue.

He is also one of the very few who gets official steers from the club in general, because of that.

Put it this way, I would be stunned if Mullock went so hard without getting the green light.

This is not the end, but it is the beginning of the end, as the great Winston said.

We will fight on the beaches, in the streets and in the fields. City will be victorious.

We shall never surrender!

`
I'd take 18M in a heartbeat. By the end of the season (if he's still here) his value have plummeted.

Yeah think I would as well pity really a great prospect make a mess of his career but need to get rid now

Was talking to Paris for three months, but even they have backed off.

All I know is he wants Italy, regardless of what Mario and Mino say.

Milan are doing what they usually do, which is say one thing in public and get the player to do their dirty work and drive the price down.

We saw it with Tevez.

He's not even been to see his kid yet, all very strange.

I think we saw the owners feelings on the matter yesterday, backed by Mancini's stance not to include him in the squad.

Yeah I'd cut our loses and just loan him out from January can't see us getting that much for him unless PSG want him and that figure will be no where near what we payed for him....
