Why shouldn't they?

And that's not the point, how are training ground bust ups with Kompany, Richards and Boateng not letting anyone down?

Again, people say he doesn't deserve the abuse he gets but he doesn't deserve these free passes either

Because they haven't damaged our chances of success.
That's not the point.

They are instances when he has let the club and us down.

Agree to disagree. If we're going to apply the same standards to the entire squad we're going to need more paper to write down all the names on the transfer list.

You have to laugh on his fan boys who supposedly love him to death but want him stay here and watch how his career go down month by month. Who supposedly love club but don't see that he is wasting space of someone who could have future in this club. He never had it and never will.

What you mean is that you have to laugh at people who love Man City, and think that while he retains the confidence of the manager the interests of the club are better served by Mario developing, improving and ultimately fulfilling his promise at the club.

No, I mean exactly what I said Mr. Explainer.

I also mean that people who ever thought that Balotelli is long term City bound are out of their mind and reality.

Well then you don't much of an idea about the people you're so patronising toward.

No, you're granting him a free pass.

I'm sorry if I feel missing 11 games due to suspension is letting the club down.

Or having to be pulled away by 2 teammates over a free kick, or having a bust up with 3 teammates unprofessional and ultimately letting the club down.

The backheel and the bitching over the free kick shouldn't be on that list either.

I'm not too bothered about the "numerous" training ground bust ups, didn't seem to hurt us too much last year.

Re-watch the video again, there's a whistle before he back heels it. Really nothing in it.

I didn't mind that he took exception to Kolarov's insistence on taking the free kick against Sunderland last year. Kolarov had his chances already, and from the angle of the free kick, it would've suited a right footed player better. At the time i was thinking that Balotelli should've taken it instead.

Conflicts between teammates are to be expected at times.

I do, very well. Unlike you and other members of that group I'm able to analyze some things without emotions involved.

As I wrote above after you quoted me, anyone who followed Mario Balotelli before he came to City should never ever think he came to City to spend his career or most of it there.

He came as it was great and wonderfully timed offer to help him move away from shit he found himself in in his last Inter days and to earn great money while being in temporary exile.

He was always supposed to go back to Italy as soon as things become good for that move and his agent is Mino Raiola. If you think that Mino Raiola will have player at some club for long time it's just wow.

The only chance to get something back from Balotelli signing was him to deliver in short time. Except few flashes, I don't think he did.

Yes I am granting him a free pass on training ground handbags, as well as the other players/manager involved. We had a number of training ground 'incidents' and won the league. Maybe we should have a few more. And I'm granting him a free pass over the free kick because it hasn't negatively affected the club in any way. And I'm granting him a free pass for the pre season friendly because it was a pre season friendly and pretty much meaningless.

Haven't excused his red cards except the Liverpool one which I thought was a poor refereeing decision under a lot of pressure from Liverpool players and crowd.

There was no whistle? A goal kick was given?

And a discussion with a teammate is fine. Having to be pulled back by 2 teammates isn't a discussion, its unprofessional

-- Jan 11th, '13, 13:37 --

Why are you missing the point? Are you that blinkered?

It's not about 'damaging our chances of success' it was about being unprofessional and letting the club down.

There's a difference you fail to recognise.
