Yaya Toure was lacklustre throughout the game, slack in his passing and unwilling to get forward when Mario was asking him to make the run. Deffo not his best game for us, Silva was similar. Mario and Tevez ran the show up front and de Jong kept it steady at the back.

I thought he played very well,caused plenty of problems,very unlucky not to score and his self control was admirable.A very mature and intelligent performance.

motm - would have been Lescott except for that almost catastophic moment...

Toss up between DJ,Richards,Mario and Hart(see above...)for me

Kolarov much improved but still a donut.

Deserved his MotM award. De Jong was very good aswell tho his passing was poor at times.

Loved his interview. Big smile when he was given the MotM champagne lol

Thought Mario did very, very well but for me De Jong was MOTM. He was on another level today and completely dominated the game.
