Why? For being realists?

If a thread asks who is better Jo or Berbatov do I have to say Jo because he plays for us?

mate , being realistic in football means accept that we all have the right to have an our own O P I N I O N , YES , but at the end of the day we must accept that we are only fans , we are not professional , ad exemple we are not really qualified for decide what a player worth.

but there is a site that all the professional utilize for this , and that site speak clear and without any suspect of biasing

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/chicharito/mwverlauf/spieler_50935.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/chichari ... 50935.html</a>

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/mario-balotelli/mwverlauf/spieler_45146.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/mario-ba ... 45146.html</a>

this are the F A C T. all the rest are opinions.

what are you on about because of the transfer fee mario is the better player?

i will show you some facts

games goals
Javier Hernandez 25(19) 20

Mario Balotelli 21(7) 10

as much as i hate to say it taking everything into account Hernandez wins hands down

Didn't even realise Balotelli had played that many games. So having played only 4 more games, and a large portion of them being a sub, he has scored double Balotelli's tally so far. As you say, he wins hands down.

Hernandez is absolutely shit hot. Brilliant little player in my opinion, maybe not the most technically gifted but he works his cock off. Always moving off the ball, always on the shoulder of the last defender and always in the right place at the right time. Think United have a little gem there. Would I swap him for Balotelli though? No and you'll see why in the next few years.

Hernandez is not 'shit hot'.

Although little Peanis has a better goal scoring, i'm still not convinced with either of them.

Over time Balo could/should outshine the little smug peasant.

Annoying little shit because of his falling on his knees and praying before a match, kissing the badge each match, crying after they beat Chelsea... but hands down much more effective than Balotelli this season.

And if you take into consideration that he only cost what 7m as well it is an absolute no brainer now.

Unless of course Balotelli scores a hattrick tomorrow and a hattrick against Stoke in the FA Cup Final.

Mouth breathers are out again.

Hernandez has nowhere NEAR the player of Balotelli. Not even a bit close. Firstly, he's entirely one footed; his left is purely for standing on. Secondly, his touch is shit. Thirdly, he can't pass short or long. Fourthly, his entire game is sitting on the edge of the line of defence (which when Balo does, he gets slagged off for been lazy) and hoping that somebody fucks up. Fifthly, he can't hold up a ball. Sixthly, he's got nowhere near the power or accuracy from long range. Seventhly, he's unable to beat a man. Eightly, he can't dribble with the ball. Ninthly, he's rubbish with his back to goal and tenthly, he's got no power.

Now, if you were to say that he's been more effective, I'd agree. If you were to say that he's been the better signing, I'd still agree (for now), but the idea that the Mexican equivalent of Michael Owen is a better all round player than the Italian version of Real Ronaldo, is utterly ridiculous.

11. None of that really matters because he scores goals. If football was played on paper, then Balotelli would be far better than the little twat, but its not, and for all Mario's attributes, simple fact is the mexican is more effective

Edit just re read your post, see we're saying the same thing

As much as I hate to say it, most people on this thread have got the blue tinted goggles on, Hernandez has came over from a completely different league, with a small reputation, and scored 20 goals and become a key player for the team that is likely to win the league. Balotelli has flattered to decieve, showed glimpses of supreme quality but also lots of laziness and petulance, Balo has great potential but at the moment thats all it is. Lets face it if he signed for the rags we would all be pissing our sides laughing at them for buying him. Oh and please don't call me a rag because I have a rational opinion as im on crutches at the moment and cant be arsed taking a picture of my season ticket.
