Hopefully we don't expect too much too soon from Balo if we do get him. He's still raw, young and it maybe 2 or 3 seasons until we see the best of him.

Does anyone think we will be bringing in Dzeko as well as Bolotelli because it seems to have gone really quiet on the Dzeko front

No chance.

Dzeko seems stuck with Wolfsburg as McClaren is clearly determined to hold on to him.

Balotelli is hardly a prolific goal scorer though is he? I mean in he isnt in the same league has Dzeko or Torres or am I wrong?

at 19 chorleyblue he has got a better scorin record than baggio did totti did and del piero did fair comment he hasnt scored as many as torres and dzeko but theres at least 5 years differance in there age so over time i would say he will be jus as prolific

Since his debut, 3 seasons ago, he has scored 28 goals and recorded 14 assists in 86 appearances. Not too shabby for a kid not even 20 years old yet.

In his first three seasons he's got a record of 28 goals and recorded 14 assists in 86 appearances. Rooney in his first three seasons had played 131 games, scoring 37 goals with 12 assists

So thats a yes then?!
he will do for me!

From a RAG on another forum... you could not make it up... I am surprised he mentions Arsenal though, would have thought he thinks United are THE only club for talent to prosper...

He is a great talent, but wrong move for both club and player if he goes. Imo, there's only really Arsenal or United who could bring him in and really turn him into something amazing.

Yes because Seria A and the Premiership are worthwhile comparisons :/

Of course they are worthwhile comparisons. The Italian leauge while it may not be as good as it used to be is still a good competetive leauge on the whole. Of course there are some poor teams in it but the same goes for the premiership. Balotelli has performed against the likes of Roma, Fiorentina, Palermo etc during his time in Seria A who have recently caused problems to English teams when they've met in Europe

You're right. Serie A is harder to score in, making Balotelli's stats even more impressive.
