They claim Balotelli said this:
“I already know where I’m going, but I don’t want to say. I know what will happen, but I won’t necessarily leave,” the 19-year-old told Sky Sport Italia 24 this afternoon.

What?

Actually, correction: This is on the Sky site itself, the people who interviewed him. This is the correct quote, not the one above.

<a class="postlink" href="http://sport.sky.it/sport/calcio_italiano/2010/08/11/balotelli_sky_sport_24_esordio_nazionale.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://sport.sky.it/sport/calcio_italia ... onale.html</a>

Finally, joke about their future. "I already know what happens, but I do not speak of this. Manchester City? I did not say that I go there, I said that I already know what happens. Or you send me to hell, or you send us Mino," he said referring to his agent Mino Raiola.

Makes perfect sense now.

Sky Sport Italia 24: "I already know where I'm going, but I don't want to say. I know what will happen, but I won't necessarily leave."

See above, that's a misquote.

I haven't been this confused since Donnie Darko.

Don't be. The ESPN article is, as always when they are uncertain, credited by "ESPN staff" and not the writer itself. My guess is that they stole the quote from football-italia, who often are very reliable. Today they got the quote wrong though.

He was interviewed by Sky, the interview is available on text form on Sky's website (see last page), and they got the most complete quote of anyone out there.

Sky is right, ESPN/Football-italia are wrong.

Wait, who said this? The player, the agent or Micah?

Could you at least open any of the links posted here? They all say he said it while being interviewed by Sky24 on live TV after Italy's match.

edit
Ah "Micah;" guess it was a joke.

Who knows what he is doing!!

Manchester City target Mario Balotelli has refused to rule out a stay at Inter.

Mario Balotelli made his senior Italy debut on Tuesday

Balotelli, who turns 20 on Thursday, has long been expected to complete a move to Manchester City, and Roberto Mancini had said he hoped to complete the signing this week.

Inter are also understood to be eager for the sale to go through as president Massimo Moratti has said they need to raise money to fund any bid for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.

Asked about his future after making his Italy debut against Ivory Coast on Tuesday, Balotelli told Sky Sport Italia 24: "I already know where I'm going, but I don't want to say. I know what will happen, but I won't necessarily leave."
