Balotelli.

Mr Marwood please tell this agent to sort out Jol's future so he can then concentrate on Balotelli's impending transfer to Manchester City Football Club.

To me it sounds like nobody outside of us and them know what's going on. Reporters continually questionning Balotelli's agent. Balotelli's agent saying nothing will happen this week. Newspapers running various stories. Some possible, some laughable (The United one). Some re-using quotes from last week, some reporting on old quotes as breaking news, some re-using reliable old rent-a-quotes such as 'waiting for a bigger club' or 'wants Champions League footbal.'

Same old bullshit written by journo's who have absolutely no idea what the player wants because they've never come close to even meeting him. These are the same KFA's who get around 95% of transfer predictions completely wrong. Kolarov's signed 5 times now according to some clown on Twatter.

The one thing i am getting fed up of though, is City fans moaning that we should walk away for fear of looking like idiots, purely because a transfer hasn't gone through just like it does on Fifa. We're hardly going to look like idiots after the window we've had. You only have to witness the bitterness on other fotballing forums to see how much of a serious threat we've become.

If i had a pound for every 'I can see another Kaka saga' comment on here i'd be able to pay for Balotelli myself. It's daft. We should all know by now, it doesn't reach Kaka levels until Sky Sports have some fat twat stood outside the wrong building all day. Exclusive my arse.

it will be the agent that is hanging on for a better deal....not just the player....

the better the deal for the player...the more money the agent makes so of course his agent is going to hang on for the best deal possible.....

i hate these football agents.....leaches the lot of them!!!!!!!!!

The agent says there'll be no news this week. That could well be because the deal is to be completed next week. Sheikh Mansoor may have to be consulted to release the money & is busy or City's staff may be busy in the U.S. Wasn't the agent dealing with Jol's move to Fulham too? Could be many reasons.

Don't think we can get any clues from his words one way or the other.
Or maybe it's because the next set of meetings are scheduled to take place over in the states? Inter's first game in the US is against us on the 31st, so i doubt they'll be over there just yet. But they'll probably be travelling over soon to get a good 5/6 days of training in before their tour starts. I'm sure their top brass will be there, as are ours. How convenient!

This to be honest. I'm very anxious to see Balotelli in a City shirt, however we shouldn't forget that transfering a player isn't simple. Most deals are said to take around 6+ months, we only get wind of them as they draw to a close, take Silva, i bet we enquired in january as to his availability and then sepnt 5 month's planning a transfer strategy, valuing him and drawing up lists of potential replacements if the deal fell through. It isn't a case of signing one sheet of paper to sign him, organising the paper work must take day's at least... i think.

Why, what are you going to do, the only way you are not going to wait that long is if you kill yourselves or fly over there and coerce him into signing with the threat of violence. My bet is you can actually wait and will, drama queens!

I know bud, tis quite funny watching them guess whats happening.

ye,the men story regarding silva was just too funny when he signed an hour after the article had been published, lol.its funny but kind of sad at the same time, these guys get paid for this and their are alot of ppl out there who take the press as gods word and get upset if they believe everything they read.i dont think i believe any paper tbh, guardian is ok but thats about it.there half decent, the rest are just gossip columns

Wouldn't surprise me to be honest. Too many snippets about ManUre and Chelski getting in the way of a clean deal lol. Dzeko looks another expensive and messy one. Just hope if it all does go belly up that we have plans in place to move quickly onto the next target whoever that may be!!

Is everyone being whipped up into a frenzy about this chap? Losing sight of the bigger picture? Was he at the World Cup? I cant remember seeing him. if he comes he comes, if not we'll move on.

They are utter cnuts!!! The headline us "Balotelli having second thoughts on joining City" But the only quotes are his agent saying nothing will happen till next week!!! How does that equate to the player not wanting to join us, talk about adding 3+1 together and getting 1,000,234,888.9666 i'm sure monkeys are running the Daily fail now. The amount of articles they publish a day is ridiculus, There is like ten articles a day about City and every single one contradicts the other!

Racist Italy wouldn't take him. Cassano didn't go either and he is also immense for Sampdoria

He wasn't but I was listening to an Italian journalist on the day they were knocked out saying that he should have gone as he offered something "a little bit different" and was, of course, young and very gifted.

I've read other stuff since which suggests that the common consensus was it was daft not to take him.

But think reasons for Mario Not coming...
1) Okay Chumps league football.
2) Continued racist abuse.
3) 3rd in line behind Eto'o and Milito.

Reasons for coming...
1) Loves Mancini.
2) Well get game time.
3) Bobby Manc or rafa goatee benitez ?
4) He will be playing in the best league in the world.
5) He will come on leaps and bounds.
