It looks like the transfer saga concerning Mario Balotelli is about to come to an end. Corriere dello Sport reports that Mario Balotelli is now extremely close to joining MCFC in a deal believed to be around the €28million mark plus bonuses:
"The transfer of Mario Balotelli to Manchester City is imminent, perhaps it will take only a matter of hours. After days without much progress, the sides are considerably closer to a deal after last nights discussions."
It is claimed that Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola has been extremely busy and Benitez is now resigned to losing the striker and instead wants the deal to be concluded as quickly as possible so a replacement can bought. Therefore, it looks like finally, after weeks and weeks of speculation and difference in evaluations a deal is to be concluded on SuperMario's 20th birthday that could see the Italian make his City debut in London on Saturday.
