men know fuck all,proof.at 10 oclock in the morning someday in july they said silva wasnt signingg,anout two hours it was on the os that he was joining us with quotes from him aswell.anyone care to elaborate on ballotellis agents comments this morning????
 
If its true and he is stalling, hoping for other interested clubs then move on to dzeko and let him stay at inter because there are no other clubs at the minute willing to pay the the sort of wages we are!!! we dont want to be held to ransom but if its just a matter of lenth of contract and a few hundred thousand then hopefully we can progress

in fairness mate its just a paper saying it has stalled,no quotes so i wouldnt be too worried.
 
Cant help it tho mate, you know what its like you end up wishing its happens and quick, one minute its just about done, next its unlikely. will be glad when deals are done and window shuts. then down to watching the glorious game
 
Maybe the club are waiting to announce new signings to coincide with the launch of the new away kit.

Can see Thursday evening Mario and Koralov both revealed wearing the new shirt and the message saying get your new away shirt (Balotteli + number) etc at the club store tomorrow.

Yeah I took that as no news this week too. Looks like its between us and Chelsea, and with Anelka and Drogba approaching the twilight years, they could move for him I guess.....

not sure if i believe the reports about not being able to agree termss with balo.but then again y isnt there any news this week??maybe it backs up the claim that he is waiting for other clubs to get involved....hmmmm
 
Some bloke from Italy on talkshite just said that the deal wasn't done, but that Man City were close.

Rag defender? Don't think so pal.

I know the future whereabouts of Balotelli about as much as you do. People think united are skint, fair do's to them. I don't think they are skint in terms of finding the out-lay for a player. I have no proof of that, the same as you and all the others on here who seem obsessed with their bank balance don't either. It wouldn't surprise me though if they did have the money to buy one big-named player, afterall they have already spent £18m on their squad players, so if they are so skint where has that money come from? And in answer to 'why hasn't he gone there'.....well why hasn't he signed for us already then if our finances are the exact opposite to uniteds? I resent the united defender jibe to be honest, all I am is just sticking to the facts that no-one knows their situation, and that is a fact.

I agree to some extent, also lets not forget transfers are arranged over 4 & 5yr period between clubs, so if anybody thinks the rags couldn't find £5m over 5 years I think would be very mistaken.

That's about £90,000 a week... aren't we paying Roque Santa Cruz that amount?

Yeah, that makes sense.

Spend getting on for £50m on transfers and hold back on the deal in the hope of flogging another couple of thousand shirts...

Yep, and as much as I was a Hughes defender, only he can be held responsible for that. I can quite honestly say RSC is the worst signing in my nigh on 25 years supporting this club, and I include Shutt, Bradbury, the Georgians, (except Kinky of course), and all the other manner of shite we've bought down the years in that too.
