I am still convinced that he will be used as a wide forward and not in the middle. Only on certain occasions will we see him play a centre forward role IMO.
In a 4-3-3, I think our squad with Balotelli, Adebayor, Bellamy and Tevez, and Adam Johnson and SWP, we have enough options, with players with different attributes and we are well covered. Our depth in the middle of the park is the only thing that is somewhat worrying now, if Ireland leaves and isn't replaced.

I understand where your coming from but he is just as good on the right hand side as in the centre and is far better than zab and micha even if it is his second position. Madrid 4-3-1-2 (also played as 4-3-3 when attacking
Inter 4-5-1 (also played as 4-3-3 when attacking)
Aresnal 4-4-2 (also play 4-3-3 with walcott and arshavin on the wings RVP upfront on his own)
Tottenham 4-4-2 ( the only 4-4-2 team here)
