£65K a week? What a bargain!

I'd be happy with that every 3 years though, but in footballing terms, he's a cheapo.

gotta admit, when i first heard of our interest in balo, i was very disappointed. Mainly due to the things i'd seen and heard about him. (obviously ssn only show clips of him throwing his shirt, etc.) But now, i am really excited about the possibility of us signing him. Imo, he is the next big thing in football, and with the right manager (bobby,) i firmly believe he is going to go far.

Hope i'm right, the future's bright, the future's blue!!!

Emmanuel Adebayor has insisted he would welcome the arrival of fellow striker Mario Balotelli.

Manchester City are in talks with Inter Milan over a possible deal to bring in Balotelli and are understood to be close to securing his services.

Balotelli's arrival would create further competition for places up front but Adebayor has made it clear that he is ready for the challenge.

The Togo international is more interested in City being as strong as possible and hopes there will be more signings that turn the club into genuine trophy contenders.

Adebayor maintains that he would relish the chance to line up in the same team as Balotelli, an Italian of Ghanaian descent.

Pleasure

"I have had the chance to play alongside a lot of great strikers so whoever comes in they are welcome," the former Arsenal man told Sky Sports News.

"We will do everything to help the person adapt to English football.

"Balotelli is originally from Ghana and he plays for Italy. I am an African man as well so for me it is going to be a pleasure meeting him.

"If he is supposed to sign for the club, fine.

"At the end of the day what is important is that we have to bring in players that can make us win things."

Please would someone recommend the best YouTube link for the player. There looks to be hundreds of dross clips muddying the waters.

Ade has a good attitude despite what rival fans (and occasionally some of our own) like to say.

I think regardless of who we bring in, Ade will be an important striker and get more goals than last season - when his return was actually not too shabby at all for the amount of games he played.

i think ade will be a lot more settled this season to be fair to him!! hopefully we will see the ade that was at the start of last season consistently though the coming one.

Boateng plays for Germany... Vieira is French... Kompany is Belgian... Balotelli is Italian... Boyata, another Belgian...

What are you getting at? Or are you just stupid?

Balotelli is of Ghanaian parentage, Boateng was born in Ghana, i think, Kompany is of Congolese parentage as is Boyata and Vieira is Senegalese born.

This

When the African Cup of Nations crisis was on I questioned Ade's attitude and desire to return. I was completely wrong and would like to apologise to him here and now. He is a very intelligent and mature guy and should be held up as an example to some of his colleagues.

(I hope he doesn't prove me wrong by stamping on Van Rapist again!

What am I saying, I hope he does!)
