This is what i have been thinking
 
Just spoke to a mate of mine who's a blue. He has the theory we are waiting till the end of the window for the 2 major deals, (Balotelli and Milner), so that Inter don't have time to buy Mascherano, meaning Liverpool, (unless they get taken over), don't have that money to spend, and also so that Villa don't have the Milner money to spend until its too late. I think its a bit far-fetched to be honest.
 
Sky sports news saying the deal is still alive. It must be so easy being a journalist they just read what we already know back at thread 549 but change the wording slightly. Though the damage to marios reputation has already been done , and if he does sign will still be tarnished with it, hence City sign a bad boy!

Been saying for day that it would make sense to announce it today:
* Cup draw
* Home kit launched (on sale)
* Open day, live on the OS and all the media in attendance
* Football season starts today!
All adds up for me and would be a great day to do it. I'm with De niro, I think around 2-3pm today.
If not then next week sometime ;0) lol

I did suggest last week that this would be the case, it would be just like the NEW CITY to announce it on the day that the Star and Mirror say the deal is dead!!

I cant be wrong really, I've covered all bases. I just dont see this deal not happening tbh.
