So, are we any closer to knowing who exactly was the "well-placed" source "close to the deal" that Soccernet quoted for the supposed £180k wages? What odds that it was someone within City itself seeking to exert pressure on the agent? Certainly, most here believe the story to be the gutter press stirring things and maybe that is what the "well-placed" source was counting on/

If this deal is going to break today or tomorrow (and I get the feeling that it is going to be one or the other) then surely bods with iphones at the ground is the way forward as there will be some major high level comings and goings very shortly. Also has balo conclusively been viewed with the Inter squad over the last couple of days?
