Bobby on Milner and Balotelli after today's match

"We are close with both players but now they are going with their national teams," said Mancini after Saturday's 2-0 friendly win over Valencia. "We hope that we can have these players by next Thursday.

"For now we have two days off and we are not going to talk about the market. Next week we will see. These deals could happen but we need to wait."

Boateng looked comfortable at CB but, more importantly, added some much need height to the City team. Boeteng, YaYa, Kompany, Ade, Vieira give us the much needed presence.
 
Don't know if it was mentioned (or it makes a difference lol) but Benitez has said that progress is being made every day with the Balotelli deal.

He was also asked about his relationship with Fergie, Wenger, Ancelotti and Mancini. His reply was, "Wenger, Ancelotti and Mancini, I have no problems with any of the three." LOL

I wouldn't want Rafa at City- but deep down think he's a decent chap. His rant about Taggart doing the fixtures to suit him was ace. It was all in vain though, six years running away again for first game!!
 
Inter's ITKs are sayng balotelli will not come back from London to italy. after the Tuesday international game he will be at COMS

With Balotelli being in London I wouldn't be surprised if Mancini goes down and sorts this one out. Cook and Marwood could also go down as Milner will be in London too

hope their ITK's know more than our ITK's! In fact our only ITK is Mancini - he has made no secret of his interest in Boateng, Yaya, Silva, Kolorov, Milner, Balotelli, in all cases well before they signed, so I suggest listening to Bobby from now on
 
would be nice to get it wrapped up asap!!! mario and milner will defo solidify our squad even more!

If Mancini left for whatever reason (which is the last thing I want, what we need is stability for once) - Rafa would actually be one of my first choices to replace him.

That's on the very big condition we kept our current format with the manager only being 1/3 of the decision-making on transfers though!

Well, if Rafa got his way Lucas Leiva would be brought in as our captain and Dirk Kuyt would replace Tevez.
 
cant wait to get this lad will be great up front with tevez because ade has looked very week and poor lately
