There seems to be so much talk about his personality, his attitude etc. but reading the various comments by Italians who have seen a lot of him, it is amazing how many of them refer to him as potentially the best player in the world. You get the feeling, if this transfer goes through, that it could either be a disaster or the most amazing transfer ever. Whichever it is I certainly think that we are in for some exciting times ahead. Also, having taken all that 'stick' from his own fans in Milan, it will be crucial for us to really get behind him when he puts on a City shirt.....maybe then we shall see if he really is the worldbeater many people think he is....cannot wait to see what happens.

I'm sure a lot of his attitude stems from all the racist crap he has to put up with in Italy, his attitude will be better if he signs for you i'm 100% certain although his wage demands are a bit annoying (if true).

I wouldn't want Rafa at City- but deep down think he's a decent chap. His rant about Taggart doing the fixtures to suit him was ace. It was all in vain though, six years running away again for first game!!

If Mancini left for whatever reason (which is the last thing I want, what we need is stability for once) - Rafa would actually be one of my first choices to replace him.

That's on the very big condition we kept our current format with the manager only being 1/3 of the decision-making on transfers though!
