Inter include City target Balotelli in Supercup squad

ROME — Mario Balotelli's proposed move to Manchester City was put in doubt on Tuesday when Inter Milan included him in their 32-man European Supercup squad.
Balotelli's on-off transfer saga to the Premier League big-spenders has rumbled on for weeks but Inter's move suggests they see him as part of their future.
The teenager, who turns 20 on Thursday, was due to make his Italy bow against Ivory Coast in London on Tuesday night and could now also feature against Atletico Madrid in Monaco on August 27.
The 32-man list, however, is not definitive and can be changed up to 24 hours before kick-off.
Balotelli, who was born to Ghanaian immigrant parents but brought up in an Italian foster family, is regarded by many as Italy's brightest young talent.
But despite breaking into the Inter Milan team at just 17, he struggled to command a regular place under Jose Mourinho over the last two years.
He has suffered racial abuse from the stands while his temperament has been regularly brought into question with Inter willing to let him leave and join former boss Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

32 man squad for one game?? Sure it's just precautionary in case the move does hit a snag. No worries blues.
 
i think its off as well!! i think we`ve decided its too much of a risk to spend this sort of cash on him! gutted if i`m right as well! :-(
 
This place is hilarious, watching everyone flap at the slightest bit of news only to be saying it's done an hour later.

What gives people on here that the deal is dead?

I believe the minute the deal breaks down, Inter, Riola or City will inform the press.

The last thing i heard was Bobby Manc informing everyone he hopes to tie up Milner and Balotelli by Thursday. Do we not have a further 2 days before d- day arrives?

Even if it isn't concluded on Thursday, it doesn't mean its over.

no,at this moment he is an inter squad member and so will be acounted for future games,as the statement does say it can be changed up to the 24th,i really dont see this as a NO he's not coming to city,might be a statement aimed towards city 'either put up or shut up' however if he hasnt signed and goes back to italy after tonights game the i'd give up on him,wed and thurs are crucial

I'd say it's more sad than funny. This deal is done, what more do you want people than the player himself saying it to be sorted in 24/48h on ssn!
