Balotelli

He's in danger of being remembered as a footballing clown.

I am a huge fan of his potential but he really does need to fucking grow up or at least produce on the pitch.

If AC offered us anything like our money back, at this moment in time, I would rip there arm off.
Hate to say it, but the difference between Balo and Hernandez in attitude, outlook and desire to score goals and help the team is painful to watch.
I would love him to prove me wrong, I would be delighted. And there will doubtless be good days when the Hackett-wearing teenage divs who think he is a 'legend' for off-field stupidity will come on here gloating and questioning those who doubt him.
But sadly, and I really, really hope I'm wrong, but I think Mario's bad days will far outnumber the good.
This is why I wanted Eto'o. Anyone who thinks we don't need four strikers when one of them is a largely half-interested, self-absorbed Mario, is mental in my book

On the day we signed him I said it would all end in tears.

Nothing so far has changed my mind.

Shame.

Most of the time, he is a waste of a shirt out wide. I know he had a decent cup final, but that was an exception rather than the rule.
He is a centre forward, and far from our best centre forward at that.
A spell of bench time might concentrate his mind and teach him some humility. But I somehow doubt it. He will just sulk until he gets his inevitable move back to AC Milan.
And if City aren't careful, he could drag others down with him.
He is the sort of signing that often gets managers the sack
I fear that a spell of "bench time" would result in the biggest hissy fit ever seen. He'd more than likely just refuse to attend training and the first time we lost a game, he'd declare that with him, we'd have won and then criticise the rest of the players. He reminds me of a boxer from the 80's called Kirkland Laing. He was known as "the gifted one". He had immense talent and natural ability but chose to ruin it by having a "colourful" social life and a very poor attitude.

He really hates football doesnt he?

He plays with such anger in his face, like he is being forced to do a job he hates.

Harry Redknapp touched on a good point about him saying how can a talented, well paid guy be showing so much pain to neutrals.

-- Mon Aug 08, 2011 2:48 pm --

I knew he wouldn't last or do well here, and he won't in the future imo.

If Mourinho couldn't control him, what makes you think that Mancini would be able to>

havent you been identified as a rag

Its boom or bust this season.

Im praying he does the business on the field this year to counter his off-field idiocy.

I love the good stuff he brings to the team but they have been so few and far between im losing the faith.

Come on Mario - this is your season, your chance, make it happen or be classed as an idiot forever.
