Balotelli is argueably THE most talked about football in the country , and that includes Rooney .... it seems all and sundry have an opinion about him , and they all know his name now !

But the guy is constantly in the news for his antics , even more so than for his sparodic goals ........ and that can never be a good thing really , can it?

I liken him to Eric Cantona ...... an enigma , who's capable not only of of brilliance , not also of great unpredictability ....... and i'll bet in 20 years time nobody will ever stand up and say they truly understood Mario!

I love Mario, but he needs to step up. His performance against Utd was inneffectual but the team were poor.

I can put up with him being a knob if he produces.

When he first started playing he was in form and scored 5 in 10 I think. He got sent off a few times but I can put up with that if he is scoring. I'd give him one more season, if he's not producing and still being a knob, ship him to Italy.

That's true enough ....

although to be fair Balotelli has a fair goal record here so far , not brilliant , but fair ......

but my main point was about their characters ... both have that crazy edge to their personas , both could explode as people in in an instant , both could also score a goal in one !

Cannot be arsed reading this whole.thread but I can guarantee that every couple.of.pages there will be some bellend calling for.his head because they have fully bought into the media shite.

There'll even be knobs calling for the return oh Bellamy and adebayour. Conveniently.forgetting that "bellers " took great delight in smiling and cheering when we missed out on top four to Harry's (a "proper manager" apparently -as he can be seen saying on the Pitch after that game) spurs'.

he's 20 and an arrogant shit. clearly talented, clearly several crumbs short of a biscuit.

I want him to succeed, as do we all. If you recall after the cup final he was saying he'd had a shit season - if he knows it he can make it.
