I really hope this deal goes through,Mario is a talented boy but i cant see him making an impact at city this season.Plus the money and wages saved could help Mancini bring in a top quality player in the summer.

£31mil seems a reasonable starting point. If we can get £25mil then we'll have done well.

Worth bearing in mind that we are capable of accepting shite payment terms from AC - paid over 5 years at £5mil per year won't be a big problem to us.

This deal will happen in Jan, I'm sure of it.

We do seem rather keen at keeping him out of harms way at the moment. As you say, crap payment terms mean little to us. Sceptical that an agreement will be reached in January though, especially when the only club at the table is AC Milan.

Milan DO have money but just don't like to spend it. Their net spend was -£53,000,000 this summer, plenty of dosh if Berlusconi hasn't spent it all on underage girls (allegedly).

If he goes I don't see us going with three strikers for the last few months of the season, so presume we have someone else lined up.
And please don't anyone say Guidetti, he is untried at first team level and I doubt he will get a runout before the end of the season due to his injury problems.

Milan are struggling to finance a loan for kaka..i cant see this happening unless they get the better end of the deal.
They will try to get mario on the cheap,if that fails it will probably be a loan move imo, they talk in millions but have shit all to back it up...

It's a pity that the move hasn't worked out but it is the past the point of no return. If we can get a good deal for Balotelli then I will be very happy.

Should Balotelli go this window

Milan making noises about wanting to sign Balotelli. €37 million being quoted. Equates to £31m.

Should we sell or keep?

22 years old - will he get better or waste the talent he has?

Given we bought him for £24m, August 2010, do you think we would get a higher price than what we paid if we sold? For me we bought a lot of potential but has he improved? Yes he has had some great games, particularly Italy v Germany. Penalties for City have been fantastic.

For me Balotelli is not a team player and he has had numerous disciplinary issues. However he has proved to be able to produce moments of sublime technical skill.

Balotelli keeps City's name in the media, if we need it or want it. Has the £24m been well spent? For me 30 goals in 75 matches is a good, not great return for a striker who would like to be considered as one of the world's best.

If Milan will pay a figure City are happy to accept I would sell. Not convinced Milan have the money.
