Seems to be an update from Gazzetta, something like a possible deal being close for £23.5million paid over 6 years.

Great deal all around. We can bring someone in who gives a shit and he can play for a club he cares about.

just a feeling but i can see mario at napoli in summer. dont believe mancini will let him leave now in january.

Anyone know if 6 payments totaling £23.5million would be better or worse for FFP than a one-time payment?

I still think Milan will try and get it down to under £20million.

Wouldn't make the blindest difference to amortisation. It would only matter if you needed to receive the cash in a particular season to match the break-even requirements.

IIRC under US rules, installment sales would be the gain applied proportionally to the cash received. So if they are equal payments, 1/6 each year. Ithink international rules are similar.

So it wouldn't help us as much this year but would benefit future periods.

We want to book the entire gain this season, so it would be a negative.

GTF Milan paying over 6 seasons is a 20% + discount so like offering less than 20m stupid desk - for me only way I would get rid is 30m cash now or a part swap for someone better

I can't see us selling in January, and weakening the squad, unless we had someone lined up. Think he'll go this summer though.
