60's duo Peter & Gordon already were called Peter & Gordon. So an easy choice of name.

No real input here but Nortside as they lived in North Manchester.

The line was “Thunder drowns out what the lightning sees”

He misheard and thought the lyric said seeds but still went with the band name

Sid Vicious was named by his parents Mr and Mrs Vicious, who by chance lived next door to Mr and Mrs Rotten, just a few doors down from old Mrs Scabies and across the road from Mr and Mrs Styrenes daughter Poly. A small world.....

Van Halen - were called Mammoth but when lead singer David Lee Roth joined he said they should change the name and use the brothers' surname. Very smart boy Mr Roth.
