Barca away criteria

By the time everyone gets up to the top tier, and given the amount of alcohol that will have inevitably been consumed, I don't think anyone will be too bothered where they stand. Front of back of the tier, the view will be equally pants!

Might have to cut short our drinking time to get in on time. It's not going to be one of those games where you can pull up in a taxi last minute!

Yeah like Ajax. Luckily we got there early with Thomas Cook so didn't have a problem getting in, but I believe a lot of people didn't get in until 30 mins after kick off.

There'll be plenty of drinking time before and after anyway, so getting to the ground a bit earlier isn't the end of the world.

Seat numbers don't count, unallocated seating, I'm lead to believe

Yeah that's right but I was just quoting the row numbers so you people could get a rough idea of how many had sold over last few days. Even though it's sit anywhere they still give you a row and seat number.

anyone know what the points may get down to now? 8k perhaps? Don't think the club are releasing enough info on this

I would work on it selling out by the end of the released sales criteria. The TO is pretty good at estimating the demand these days.

I think they get it close and they have to be cautious but have seen several times when they update it and extend it further.

They seem to have got better at it this season. A couple of times last season, like Ajax away for example, they posted criteria then looked a bit silly when it sold out instantly.

When I got mine this morning at 9am the staff said this was the busiest it had been and there were only around 15-20 there, you can't really gauge it though with internet and phone sales also taking place.

Got my ticket and travel confirmed by thomas cook this morning. Can't wait been dreaming of a game like this for the last 45 years. After all the heartache is nt it just great to be a blue right now !!

On 8310 points and resigned to not getting a ticket. Fair enough if those with more points have already taken theirs. What has fucked me right off though is finding out that 2 people with 6,000 points have tickets "via their local supporters club". I don't want to knock the supporters clubs as I know they do a fantastic job, but surely for a game like this, this kind of arrangement with the club is just plain wrong!

My point wasn't to argue that people who do all of the above are more "saintly" than the rest of us - although they probably are. Nor to argue that people who give up a lot of their time for others deserve some financial reward - although they may well do. My point was that the relationship between supporters club branches and the club works both ways. And one of the ways it works for the branches is that they get ticket allocations to distribute amongst their paid up card-carrying members.
So they should get kick backs for doing all this arranging then, that's it in a nutshell?

I didn't say that anyone should get anything, I was just pointing out that is the way it works. I have 8,500 loyalty points and I know I'll probably miss out on a ticket and either have to pay over the odds to some Spanish ticket tout or watch it in a Barcelona bar (cos I'm going anyway). That's life, you can make your own judgements on whether it's fair or not........
