I thought fernando played ok at fullback but he was caught out of position couple of times in the second half.......Pep also explained his reasoning behind playing fernando (or one of them anyway) was he wanted his height and thats why he didnt play maffeo.

Maffeo could start....zabba would get given he run around..his legs just cant do it

I think Pep might not play any fullbacks however.....thikn he will go 3 at the back possibly with Stones, Vinnie and Ottomendi.......all good in one on ones which you have to be vs barca (as long as ottomendi doesn't dive in)

its a difficult one as I think Maffeo has the attributes to play vs barca but its a huge ask for the young lad...but his pace and agility would be a good match up against neymar messi and suarez

He wanted possession in the last game and it was working until a slip and a cock up by bravo...but especially int he first half we did very well against them

Playing Kun will see that ability to maintain possession be lessened. I love Kun to bits but playing 6 midfielders last time worked quite well until a couple of individual errors.....even if Kun plays as he did vs west brom it will still be a problem

the upside is we have goal threat as vs barca last time we didnt so there are positives and negatives to this I suppose.

Maybe a back 3 and 6 still in midfield with then Kun up top?????

You have to play your best goal scorer in a game like this surely, to do otherwise is giving the impression you are scared of them, bad decision!
 
I think we can get a win in this - if we can keep 11 on the pitch.
Never had any confidence in getting anything other than a heavy defeat against Baca but am optimistic about Tuesday.
Neymar is the one who will cause us the most problems
 
At some stage we will get a win against Barca, realistically they're going to finish top of the group no matter what the result on Tuesday. We were the better side for large chunks of the away game, we''ll eventually keep 11 on the field against them as well.

They weren't 'all that' last night and we played really well, add in the Pep factor (fingers crossed).....we could get a result this time.
 
The thing with pep is, he will change things during a game look at how midfield players took up different positions during the West Brom game, very fluid and dangerous, I like the way things are moving:-)
 
I reckon pull all stops and go as attacking as we can.

Chances are we won't top the group, and head to head results not goal difference determines who goes through.

Yes i agree...sort of.....

Peps tactics worked to a certain extent the first time.....barca didnt threaten much till the ferna slip......or after it int he first half and then even at the start of the second half till bravos brain fart....

But we do also need a goal threat....its a very fine balancing act so it was more of a question of i wonder how Pep is going to balance it?
