Fan owned does not mean fan run, they vote on a board and obliged to comply with club statutes & be transparent. Bartomeu & Rosell did not do that but that's also why they must agree to assume financial losses incurred. Without being fan owned, Bartomeu would've continued to wreak havoc until the end of his tenure

Fan owned clubs is a total disaster. Look at f c rags who all fell out with each other and they are going down the pan. That knob Walsh got jettisoned for being a knob that he always was. All clubs are owned by owners. It isn't a yogurt knitting thing.
When I said fan run, you are not owned by a person or a family who take money out of the club each year, (The wonderful Glazer family :-) )

If i read that right, Liverpool have already sold the debt and been paid. This will be at a lower amount as the buyer would also need to make some money.
Ah, I didn't read the full article, just the start, I knew it wasn't the one I had read originally, that one never mentioned the selling of the debt.
Christ, I didn't even know shit like that went on.
It is getting to the stage for me that if you can't pony up the cash you can't have the player, that will soon put an end to teams like Barcelona buying who they want when they haven't got a pot to piss in.
