Messi will be going nowhere. He has never had any intention of going anywhere. He has turned down the chance to come to city before and would do so again. Just look at the summer.

If we want to sign a world superstar who would take us up a level we should be offering the world to Ronaldo. I doubt he would come out of loyalty to united but we should st least try. Messi will never come and imo is not worth the astronomical and obscene wages and signing on fees he would demand.

I wouldn't want a prima Donna signing for us with an attitude that he was doing us a favour in doing so. Especially one who is 5 years past his best.

We're not that club anymore. Messi had his chance and he didn't want to do it. That was his choice, fair enough. Let the little dwarf bastard rot in a dying club. Its what he wants and deserves.

Bizarre post.

Prima Donna- check.
Ronaldo- check.
5 years past his best- check.
Contradicting yourself- check.

Are your knees bruised as you tripped yourself up so many times.

He IS a prima Donna. We see the evidence every summer when he flounces around threatening to leave the club until he gets his own way, usually in the form of another bumper payrise or some such gift of greater influence.

Ronaldo is, and has been for several years by far the better player. more athletic, better in the air, Better goalscorer and better team player. He is a freak of nature, the best player of the last 20 years. You don't often see him walking around the centre circle area looking disinterested.

Messi is 5 years past his best. Still a great player but way beyond the wrong side of 30.

I don't beleived I have contradicted myself.

My knees are fine, thanks for asking.

i can defo 100% going in the jan window barca are fucked and losing money far to fast. they have been told to cut the wage bill by 30% and even at that level messi wages are still 2million + a month ?

i can see city paying a fee and eric garcia so barca now how to recoup so money ? by bet its a round £70milion
so barca would make £70million and save around £30million ? if messi stays barca are still fucked and will win nothing and could even miss out of champions league place because they sit 8th at the moment

so messi leaving in jan makes sense for both parties. if barca don't win anything then they can say it was messi fault and a rebuild
70 mil when we hold all the cards?

I fucking hope not.

we don't really ? barca have the right to keep him to the summer but it does not make sense money wise
they get nothing in the summer only messi wage bill of the books. also looking at the table in spain
barca are in a bit of a fight in 8th and even messi staying they could still miss out of a top 4 place ?

market value is a small token fee of the buy out clause. but city have eric garcia that also will be a token fee
so city need to push the boat if they want messi in jan and barca are in a mess money wise so it simple

the £70million is a sweetener and city still need to make barca jump before messi walks away for free
its money barca can not turn down and also takes off the biggest earner on the wage bill

It's also far more than anyone should have to pay for a player who can sign a pre-contract instead

Still a great player but past his best? This does not make any sense and neither does your post. Ramblings of an attention seeker.
