The claim of arrogance is both an accusation and an insult because you have made the claim without having debated the point to understand my point of view. The fact of the matter is that I believe I'm right, therefore I must obviously believe that people who contradict that are wrong unless they can demonstrate a reason why I should believe otherwise. That isn't arrogance, it's conviction in your opinion.mick10 said:Breaking a rule by replying. Me calling you arrogant and having a high opinion of yourself is not an insult. It's fact and quite plain to see. I've accused you of nothing either. You bring a ridiculous example of a cat and a dog assuming that that relates to a football game that was played tonight. The majority of posters on here appear to be quite pleased and proud of the teams performance tonight. You disagree, which you are entitled to do. However, it's the manner in which you disagree is the point. You are arrogant, that's it really.
I'm not pleased with the team or the result because I think the team is capable of more than it produced in both legs of the tie. It's as simple as that. My opinion is that the tactics in the first leg and in the first half of the second were naive. It was also my opinion that our tactics at the start of the season were naive, but I was called a number of names for having that opinion as well. As I say, I think we are capable of more, but I think we are being held back by the tactics we are employing.
